PUBLIC SERVICES OMBUDSMAN (WALES) ACT 2005http://www.uk-public-services-ombudsman-wales-act-2005.co.uk/s-3PUBLIC SERVICES OMBUDSMAN (WALES) ACT 2005The Public Services Ombudsman Wales Act 2005 (the Act) will abolish the office of the Welsh Administration Ombudsman, the Health Service Commissioner for Wales, the Social Housing Ombudsman for Wales and the Commission for Local Administration in Wales (including the office of the Local Commissioner for Wales). To replace these offices the Act will establish a single office of Public Services Ombudsman for Wales on 1 April 2006. This Act was designed to make a number of amendments to, or revocations of, subordinate legislation as a consequence of the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2005. The proposed amendments and revocations are purely consequential to this Act and do not change or affect the purpose, substance or effect of the subordinate legislation. Section 38 of the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2005 provides for complaints that have been made or referred to, but not determined by, the Welsh Administration Ombudsman, the Health Service Commissioner for Wales, the Social Housing Ombudsman for Wales or the Local Commissioner for Wales to be determined by the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales.http://www.uk-public-services-ombudsman-wales-act-2005.co.uk/s-3continue...
